Concerts

Forty evenings,
about 1,200 people

We often organise concerts to make ourselves known and to raise funds. Many of them take place in private homes, where musicians and audience meet informally, get to know each other and talk about our projects together.

Each evening draws around thirty people and, since we have done about forty of them, that means we have talked with some 1,200 people before and after the music. Though believe us, it is many more than that.

Out of these evenings come chances for other concerts and other collaborations. And they are also evenings in which we try to let people feel the pleasure of music, which is what we are trying to spread in the first place.

Alongside house concerts we organise theatre concerts and festivals. Every ticket and every hat passed round goes straight to one of the music schools we support.

House concerts happen in private homes and are invitation-only evenings: we do not publish the dates. If you would like to be there, write to us.

Would you host a house concert?

It is not that hard: you need some chairs, a decent living room, and the willingness to have your home taken over by guests and musicians for one memorable evening.

Write to us and we will work out together which musicians suit your circle of friends best, and which date would work.

Would you play with your band?

Wonderful. Write to us about your project and, as soon as we find a venue that suits it, we will contact you to agree on a date.

The guide for artists covers everything worth knowing about how an evening in someone's home works.
